Shipping, Exchange, Return & Refunds

Shipping Policy

  • Delivery Locations: We ship across India to all pin codes.
  • Dispatch Timeline: Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery times vary by location (5–8 days for metros, 7–14 days for remote areas).
  • Shipping Costs: Standard shipping is free for orders above ₹1,499. A flat fee applies for orders below this threshold.
  • Order Tracking: Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email/SMS. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon handover to the courier.

Risk-Free Shopping

  • Timeframe: Returns or exchanges can be initiated within 07 days of delivery.
  • Eligibility:
    • Item must be unused, unwashed, with original tags and packaging intact.
    • Only products purchased from www.theurbanthing.com are eligible.

How to Return or Exchange

  • Log in to “My Orders” on our site and select the item. 
  • Choose ‘Return’ or ‘Exchange’ and select your preferred pickup date. 
  • A pre-paid courier label will be included with every shipment for easy returns.  
  • We’ll schedule a pickup from your address. 

Return Shipping & Condition Check

  • Free returns for eligible orders – no need to pay upfront. 
  • We’ll inspect returned items upon receipt. If they fail to meet policy conditions, we reserve the right to reject the return or charge a restocking fee

Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired size/style is unavailable, you may choose a refund or store credit.

Refund Policy 

  • Refund Timeframe: Issued within 7–10 business days after we receive and approve your return. 
  • Refund Method: Funds will be returned via the original payment method. If that’s not possible, store credit will be offered. 
  • Partial Refunds: May apply for items returned damaged, used, or missing tags/packaging. 

Order Cancellation 

  • Before Dispatch: You can cancel an order any time up until dispatch via your account or by contacting us. 
  • After Dispatch: Please request a return once you receive the shipment. 

 Additional Information 

  • Sale or Promotional Items: Subject to the same 7-day return/exchange window unless otherwise stated. 
  • Gift Orders: The recipient can initiate returns/exchanges using order details; refunds will be sent to the purchaser’s payment method.
